GoLive! Mobile offers products and services in the areas of mobile marketing, content, billing, web, etc., as well as a branded MVNO (Mobile Virtual Network Operator) package, professional services, and reseller solutions. This article explains.

Insta!Connect API’s form the basis of may client-built applicaitons.

and

Orbit Multimedia, a mobile content management and delivery system. The Orbit Multimedia system provides easy management for a wide range of multimedia content including audio, video, Java apps, ringtones, wallpapers, screensavers, and games. One of the special features of the Orbit system is delivering an optimized version of the media files you upload, based on the subscriber’s specific cell phone or PDA model specifications.

Services offered by GoLive! Mobile include custom application development for specific recipients, including Android, iPhone, J2ME, Symbian, and Windows Mobile. WAP site development is another service, with the ability to design using CSS3, HTML5, XHTML, WebKit, and more. A dedicated short codes procurement service is another offering. There are also professionals available to:

• provide quality website design

• offer search engine optimization services

• provide marketing print production

• design interactive TV applications

• offer strategic consulting in the areas of effective marketing, regulatory affairs, and technology, for example

• testing and porting for mobile developers who wish to outsource this element of game and application development.

Finally, GoLive! Mobile offers content brokering services for businesses that wish to license or acquire content for use in mobile settings. Content areas include games in categories such as arcade, adventure, and sports; wallpapers including celebrity photos; ringtones; video in Mpeg 4 and 3gpp in several categories; and adult products. Both ringtones and wallpapers are available in royalty and royalty-free arrangements.

GoLive! Website

A search of the GoLive! Mobile website does not turn up pricing information. This makes it challenging to compare the products and services to other, comparable offerings. They have many well-known clients, including Disney, Coca-Cola, the FBI, Universal Studios, and the United Nations, but the fact that Philippines is misspelled on their About page could lead you to question their quality control in-house, and therefore wonder how carefully they’ll work for you. This is definitely a case of “more information needed” before making a decision to go with GoLive!

Moto Message Review

Moto Message is a text message marketing service. The service assists you as you set up a marketing campaign, promote customer buy-in, and send weekly text messages to your customers who have opted in. This article reviews Moto Message.

Claims

With no evidence or source provided, Moto Message claims that text messages have a 95% read rate and a 20% response rate. It is claimed that response for “traditional advertising” is 6%. Still with no evidence, the following comparisons are drawn:

• Direct mail—6%
• Newspaper ad with coupon—up to 6%
• Email—3%
• Radio/TV ad ?

While Moto Message has not provided sources for these numbers, if these numbers are correct then we will definitely be seeing a lot more text message marketing.

Costs

Moto Message offers a three tier pricing plan; A Silver Plan designed for small businesses and groups, A Gold Plan created with medium size businesses in mind, and a Platinum Plan for multiple locations and heavy texters.  This tiered system offers lower monthly costs for organizations with the need for fewer text messages each month.

All three plans: Silver, Gold, and Platinum come with no set-up fee and no contract required.

• The Silver plan costs $49/month, allows 200 messages/month, and charges $0.10 for each additional message.

• The Gold plan costs $75/month, allows 500 messages/month, and charges $0.07 for each additional message.

• The Platinum plan costs $99/month, allows 1000 messages/month, and charges $0.04 for each additional message.

In all cases, inbound text messages are free; all text message credits rollover month to month and never expire; and 1 keyword is included.

On the FAQ page, it says the pricing plan is simple and:

  • You can have unlimited subscribers and campaigns.
  • You may purchase additional keywords for a $50 one time fee.
  • Text message credits may be purchased for as low as $.04/credit.
  • Includes bonus text credits that never expire.
